Our Story
Pretty Prism Tarot is the first endeavor of Ichigo Tarot-- a business between two friends, MC and Candy Fluffs.
This project took 5 years to create from ideation, studying, sketches, color studies, to the final proofs.
MC, a diviner and anime lover, asked Candy Fluffs to be the illustrator for a full 78-card, fan-made, magical girl tarot deck. Candy Fluffs declined at first, due to the size of the project, but friendship and love of the moon convinced her to do it.
Meet the Team
MC
Co-founder/Diviner
MC has expert knowledge on tarot symbolisms via the Rider-Waite Tarot deck. She is the project manager and visionary who truly loves tarot and art. Through this project, she could create the deck she'd have wanted for herself.
Candy Fluffs
Co-founder/Illustrator
Candy Fluffs has expert knowledge on Sailor Moon, owning multiple manga editions, character guide books, and anime. She has a BFA in Illustration from California College of the Arts (CCA) and is traditionally trained in painting. Candy Fluffs has had her art displayed at the Society of Illustrators in NYC and the Smithsonian. Her primary tools are watercolor and ink.
